Pharmacy

Our in-house pharmacy provides medications for prescriptions written by IHCRC’s medical providers. Utilizing advanced robotic equipment and a five-lane drive through ensures patients receive their medications in a timely and convenient manner. Our pharmacists also provide medication counseling and education. IHCRC’s pharmacy works from a very comprehensive formulary. However, if a needed medication is not included, a patient assistance program may be available.

Services

IHCRC's pharmacy, now located at IHCRC 530 featuring a five-lane drive-thru, provides prescriptions, medication education, and adherence counseling for prescriptions written by IHCRC physicians only.

Medication Education

Having trouble remembering to take your medications? Unsure how to use your inhaler? Ask your physician or nurse to refer you to one of our Integrated Pharmacists.

Native Hearts Program

The Native Hearts Cardiovascular Clinic takes a balanced, patient-centered approach to heart health. Headed by our Clinical Pharmacy Specialist (CPS) Dr. Russell Kern, this interdisciplinary team of providers takes a collaborative approach to working with patients who have either been diagnosed with a heart-related illness, those at risk of developing a heart-related illness, or those who have a family medical history of heart disease. Evidence and research show that a collaborative approach to care with an interdisciplinary team improves patient outcomes and quality of life overall, and organizations such as the American Heart Association and the American College of Cardiology have included this method as part of their guidelines. This program is for current IHCRC patients who have been diagnosed with heart disease, factors leading to heart disease, or have a family medical history of the illness.
