Since 1976, IHCRC has been an important part of the local American Indian community. IHCRC is dedicated to providing the best services possible in a way that is understanding of American Indian culture. All services provided at IHCRC are free.

Eligibility to Receive Health Services

Any individual who holds a Certificate of Degree of Indian Blood (CDIB) card from a federally recognized tribe is eligible to receive healthcare at IHCRC. Non-American Indian children under the age of 18 who have an American Indian parent or an American Indian guardian also qualify for care. Non-American Indian women who are pregnant with an American Indian child are eligible for prenatal and postpartum care.

New Patient Enrollment

To open a chart with IHCRC, all new patients are required to fill out the New Patient Packet via our paperwork portal Docusign.

New patients need to provide the following documentation when filling out the New Patient Packet:

CDIB or Tribal membership card
Driver’s license or state photo identification for adults
Social Security number
Insurance, Medicare, or Medicaid (Soonercare) information
Children 18 and under – birth certificate
Newborns and children under 1 – birth certificate or birth record, Social Security Card if available

Once the New Patient Packet is completed, it takes 24 to 48 hours for a new chart to be made. After that time, an appointment can be scheduled by calling (918) 588-1900.

For your first appointment please bring the following:

Closures

The clinic is closed the first Wednesday of each month and on all federal holidays.

For medical emergencies, dial 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

Help is only a phone call away. When you have a mental health emergency, call or text 988.

New Patient Documentation

Health insurance is not needed to be a patient at IHCRC. However, we welcome individuals who have SoonerCare, Medicaid, Medicare, VA TRICARE, and private insurance plans. All services are free, meaning even those with insurance are not required to pay a deductible or a copay.

We do encourage new patients without insurance to speak with the Registration Department to apply for SoonerCare - Oklahoma’s free insurance coverage for children, pregnant women, family planning, and breast and cervical cancer treatment, as well as Insure Oklahoma and the Affordable Care Act. Many working families qualify for these important benefits, ensuring access to emergency and specialty care is there when needed.

Patients must wear appropriate attire, including but not limited to shirt, pants, and shoes.
Cameras may not be used in common spaces. This includes Facetime and other cell phone video-enabled applications.
Patients must arrive on or prior to their scheduled appointment time.
Patients must show respect to those around them, including staff and other patients. This includes taking personal cell phone calls outside the clinic, and keeping volume down on devices, or using headphones.
No food, drink, alcohol, tobacco, or marijuana (including electronic vapor devices) may be consumed on the premises.

Failure to adhere to these expectations may result in a dismissal.
