Our Nutrition Services team is staffed by registered dietitians and certified diabetes care and education specialists (program accredited by ADCES). The program provides personalized guidance and evidence-based education designed to help individuals effectively manage health conditions and improve their overall well-being.

  • Diabetes self-management education and support for individuals with diabetes.

  • Nutrition therapy/education to promote healthy eating and manage health conditions including:

  • Prediabetes

  • Blood pressure

  • Cholesterol

  • Digestive issues

  • Weight management


Nutrition Education

Need to eat healthy for your heart or to manage your diabetes? Trying to be healthy on a limited budget? Join one of many food education classes offered at IHCRC 550 to help you better understand the foods you are eating and how to shape your diet to fit your needs. Join us in-person for one of our monthly cooking demonstrations!


For 27+ years, our Special Diabetes Program for Indians (SDPI) has been funded through a grant offered by Indian Health Service (IHS).


Appointments are scheduled one-on-one and patients must have a referral from their IHCRC primary care physician to access services.

The clinic is closed the first Wednesday of each month and on all federal holidays.
