About the Event

Tea & Topics, happening every third Tuesday of each month, offers American Indian elders time to gather over a comforting cup of tea (or coffee!) to connect and explore informative health-related topics together. This month’s Tea and Topics will feature guest speaker Jorjana Marx of Oklahoma Senior Law. Jorjana is a Cherokee Nation citizen and specializes in elder law. She will be discussing the legal considerations of aging and how seniors and families can plan for long-term care costs.

This event is open to members of a federally recognized tribe that are age 60 or over. Elder caregivers and partners are also welcome. Please register so we can have an accurate count of attendees. If you are unable to attend after registering, please reach out to cancel your RSVP at 918-588-1900.
