In this free and open-to-the-public event, celebrate the strength and resilience of survivors of domestic violence, sexual violence, child maltreatment, and human trafficking with a butterfly release.

About the Event

October is Domestic Violence Awareness month, a time to remember the importance of showing sensitivity and support for survivors. Leading up to this special awareness month, Indian Health Care Resource Center of Tulsa invites survivors of domestic violence, sexual violence, child maltreatment, and human trafficking to release a Monarch butterfly as a representation of hope and transformation. Participants are welcome to bring their family or support system to this free, public event.


Notes:

The event will be limited to the first 100 participants.

RSVPs are not required for this event.

Participants are welcome to come and go throughout the 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM timeframe as desired.


Directions:

Please enter through IHCRC 530's (north building) entrance and look for event signage. Parking is available at both IHCRC 530 and IHCRC 550.
