About the Event

Tea & Topics, happening every third Tuesday of each month, offers American Indian elders time to gather over a comforting cup of tea (or coffee!) to connect and explore informative health-related topics together. This month’s Tea and Topics will feature guest speaker Lieutenant Craig Deerinwater of the TFD and Vice President of IAFF Local 176. Craig is a Muscogee Nation citizen, with Cherokee and Navajo heritage. He has over 27 years of dedicated service to the Tulsa Fire Department. Craig along with other firefighters will be discussing fire safety in the home and what to do in the event of an emergency.

This event is intended for IHCRC patients ages 60 and older. Elder caregivers and partners are also welcome.
