Job Summary

Indian Health Care Resource Center of Tulsa (IHCRC) is a nonprofit organization empowering the American Indian community through exceptional, culturally responsive healthcare. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled LPN for our Patient Triage for Walk-In Clinic Provider. The Triage Nurse will play a crucial role in assessing patients' needs, prioritizing care based on urgency, and providing initial medical guidance. This position requires a strong background in nursing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Job Functions

  • Train medical staff for the same day clinic flow.

  • Collaboration of Sophia machines clinic wide.

  • Triage and PHN coverage when needed.

  • AHA BLS instructions.

  • Testing for Flu, Covid, Strep, and RSV.

  • Medication and Injections administration.

  • Covid Vaccine administration as needed.

  • Specimen collections.

  • Patient education.

  • Enforcing Clinic Policies and Procedures.

  • Application and education of splints, braces, and crutches.

  • Wound care and education.

  • Code 77 Medical Care and Education, responding to Medical Codes in a timely manner.

  • Order Entries.

  • Provide phlebotomy services when needed.

  • Other duties as assigned

Required License, Certification, Education, Specialized Skills

  • High School diploma or equivalent.

  • Completion of an accredited RN program.  Current and valid Oklahoma RN license.

  • 2+ years of clinical experience preferred.

  • BLS CPR Certification.
