Job Summary

The CQI Manager is responsible for creating, directing, and evaluating projects and programs that advance IHCRC’s mission and vision, within the scope of the annual CQI Plan and Patient Centered Medical Home Program. This position promotes a culture of continuous quality improvement, innovation, and practice transformation that enhances patients’ clinical outcomes as well as patient and staff experience.

Essential Job Functions

  • Develop, implement, and monitor quality improvement programs to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.

  • Responsible for quality of care initiatives and driving improvement on clinical measures and outcomes through effective and efficient workflows and data capture.

  • Ensures completion of the monthly leadership reports and quarterly Board report.

  • Drives Process Improvement.

  • Develops and improves quality systems that cover monitoring and reporting for operational requirements.

  • Analyze data related to quality metrics and patient outcomes to identify areas for improvement.

  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to develop strategies for meeting quality goals.

Required License, Certification, Education, Specialized Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Health Promotion, Public Health, Health Care Administration or related field. Master’s degree preferred.

  • Continuous Quality Improvement experience in a healthcare setting required. Process improvement experience required. Lean Green Belt preferred.

  • Must be able to read and interpret data, organize data into meaningful reports.

  • Must be a self-starter, multi-tasker, with ability to give direction to others.

  • Ability to lead a team to accomplish department goals and objectives effectively and efficiently.
