JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a Fundraising Specialist to join our growing Development Team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in aiding overall grant efforts to acquire funding for IHCRC. This position requires strong relationship management skills, the ability to conduct thorough research, and a commitment to building lasting connections with the community & donors.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • This role collaborates with other departments to ascertain clinic needs and help guide seeking, writing, and management grants that supports IHCRC’s mission.

  • Grant Writing

  • Develop and execute fundraising campaigns to meet organizational goals.

  • Conduct research to identify potential donors, grant opportunities, and funding sources.

  • Maintains a confidential stance in regard to grants, salaries, and other private information.

  • Manage relationships with existing donors while cultivating new partnerships.

  • Write compelling grant proposals and funding applications to secure financial support.

  • Analyze market trends to inform strategic planning for future fundraising activities.

  • Maintains a grants operation manual.

REQUIRED LICENSE, CERTIFICATION, EDUCATION, SPECIALIZED SKILLS

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field or commensurate work experience.

  • Must have proven experience in applying for, managing, and accounting for grants of at least USD $20,000.

  • Familiar with the Code of Federal Regulations; Office of Management and Budget; and Uniform Guidance for Grant Operations and Management.

  • Experience with basic financial management skills including developing and monitoring budgets and financial reporting.

  • Excellent project management skills demonstrating strong ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and product quality results on time with attention to detail.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to foster cooperative relationships with staff and stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills.
