This month’s American Indian elder gathering over tea (and coffee) will feature Chickasaw artist E. Dee Tabor teaching loom beading, with kits for the first 30 participants!

About the Event

Learn how to take part in loom beading, a longtime tradition among many American Indian tribes.


This month’s Tea & Topics will feature Water Works Art Center instructor E. Dee Tabor, a Chickasaw artist with more than 20 years of experience in jewelry making and more than 30 years of teaching. In addition to the loom beading lesson, the first 30 participants will also receive a loom and bead kit.


Tea & Topics is a monthly gathering over tea (and coffee), where American Indian elders can connect with each other while exploring informative and interesting topics.


This event is for those ages 65 and older.
