JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Medical Receptionist to join our medical team. The Medical Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, playing a vital role in setting a welcoming and professional environment. This role is responsible for front desk operations including scheduling, check-in/out, verifying insurance, answering phones, and maintaining accurate patient records.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Check in patients.
Verify insurance on all patients.
Verify appropriate documents are in the patient chart.
Assist with the walk-in process.
Connect patients with the appropriate staff or department.
Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED LICENSE, CERTIFICATION, EDUCATION, SPECIALIZED SKILLS
High School diploma or equivalent.
1+ years experience or technical training in medical billing or medical records.
Basic computer skills.
