About the Event
Let your kids get creative and connect with their culture each Friday this summer! Volunteer art mentors and IHCRC staff will lead weekly activities geared especially for our youth!
In addition to keeping kids learning during the summer when school is out of session, taking part in traditions is also important for:
• Building resilience
• Reinforcing support networks
• Acting as a buffer against trauma effects
Scheduled events include:
June 27: Powwow etiquette for ages 12+
July 11: Pottery for ages 6+ (two separate classes available)
July 18: Crafts and Friendship Bingo for ages 6+ (two separate classes available)
July 25: Fingerweaving for ages 13+
Youth are not required to participate every week, but it is encouraged! Click the "Select Different Date" button above to RSVP your child to other sessions.

These sessions are available to active IHCRC patients only. Drop-off will not be available as parents/guardians are required to attend with child.
