About the Event

Our Youth Summit focuses on New Ways for young urban Native Americans to advocate for themselves through life skills including healthy relationships, coping skills, leadership development, opportunities after high school, and navigating adulthood. Our goal is to help Native American youth prepare for a bright today and an even brighter future. For Native American Students in Grades 9-12. Breakfast and lunch will be provided for attending youth. Youth may receive swag bags and giveways during event.

Schedule:

8:30 am – 9:15 am – Registration and Breakfast

9:15 am – 9:45 am – Welcome & Introductions

10:00 am - 10:45 am – Morning Break Out Sessions (see below)

11:00 am – 11:45 am – Key Note Presenter – Alex Meraz

12:00 pm – 12:45 pm – Lunch

1:00 pm – 1:45 amAfternoon Break Out Sessions (see below)

2:00 pm – 2:45 pm – Keynote Presenter – Ryan Redcorn - Visual Sovereignty

2:45 pm – 3:00 pm – Closing
