About the Event
Gather with family and friends to experience Culture Nights, here at IHCRC. Join us each Wednesday evening as we delve into the world of Powwow songs (drumming and singing), beading, and native cooking. Nights will feature guest speakers and family fun. Culture Nights is a weekly recurring event starting September 13th through the end of the 2024 school year.
Our goal is to provide a space for families to come together weekly to experience cultural activities in a learning environment. We kindly request that participating youth belong to one of two age groups ( 7 -11 or 12 and up) and attending adults participate in activities alongside youth. Culture Nights will vary each week with the following schedule:
Culture Nights will take place EVERY Wednesday night and will alternate between beading lessons, powwow song/drum lessons, and cooking class. Light snacks will be provided on non-cooking nights.
**By registering for this event you agree to have a chart opened at IHCRC if you are not already an established patient.
