Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine the extent of substance abuse and related issues. Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals. Facilitate group therapy sessions to promote peer support and recovery strategies. Provide crisis management support to patients in distress. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with ICD-10 coding standards. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate care and resources for patients. Engage in child family counseling when appropriate, involving family members in the treatment process. Stay updated on research and best practices in substance abuse treatment. In this position he ensured the clinical training of our interns met the criteria for the American Psychologist Association (APA) as well as the Northeastern Oklahoma Psychology Internship Program (NOPIP). From his own experience he was able to share with the interns his extensive experience in providing individual psychotherapy with clients, administering test batteries for psychological assessments, and writing psychological evaluation reports. Dr. Menting made a concerted effort to encourage a commitment to community outreach with the interns. As an advocate for embracing best practices in the psychologist field, Dr. Menting is committed to collaborative efforts and consultation with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic treatment is provided for all clients. Dr. Menting was also responsible for spearheading the training for practicum students placed at our facility. Upon the resignation of Rachel Leah Floyd, Psy.D., IHCRC’s Director of Behavioral Health, Dr. Menting assumed that role which he maintained until being promoted to the Chief Behavioral Health Officer position in 2024.

As a Registered Nurse with 35 years of experience in the medical field, Tanya has been a valuable resource to IHCRC since she was first hired. She took a lead role in 2013 in assisting IHCRC staff to achieve Medical Home designation through our accrediting body, AAAHC. She has brought stability to our nursing staff and expanded access to our medical services. Tanya takes a lead role with risk management, safety and the overall operations of the clinic. Tanya earned an Associate of Applied Science in Nursing from Northern Oklahoma College and a bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma Wesleyan University. Tanya supervises two nurse supervisors who assist her in overseeing all medical assistants in the Medical department, all Public Health Nurses, Nurse Case Managers, Lab staff, Diagnostic Imaging staff and the Medical Records staff.
