JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated X-Ray Technologist to join our growing medical team. The X-Ray Technologist will perform x-rays and other diagnostic imaging examinations on patients requested by our providers. Caring for our patients with excellent customer service skills and documenting results in a timely manner.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Perform imaging procedures including X-Ray, Mammography, and PET scans in accordance with established protocols.

  • Accurately document patient information, imaging results, and any relevant medical terminology associated with the procedures performed.

  • Adhere to safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff.

  • Performs x-ray exams as ordered by provider.

  • Follows all State and Federal guidelines, as well as IHS, OSHA, ACR, MQSA, FDA, and AAAHC Standards.

  • Completes required reports.

  • Schedules or reschedules appointments as needed.

  • Assists with clerical duties as needed.

REQUIRED LICENSE, CERTIFICATION, EDUCATION, SPECIALIZED SKILLS

  • High School diploma or equivalent.

  • Graduate from an accredited school for Radiologic Technology.

  • Current ARRT Certification

  • One year of experience performing x-ray technician job in a busy medical clinic.

  • BLS CPR certification.

  • Updated CEU credits.

  • CQR test 10 years from graduation date.
