Sit Less Move More Learn Better

This professional training is FREE and intended for classroom teachers, physical education teachers, and youth activity program staff. The activities are appropriate for use in elementary and middle schools. Our goal is to provide new activities with a focus on integrating health education and promoting mental well-being with physical activity. Activities presented will help promote health education concepts, experiential learning, team building, cooperation, and communication.

10:30 AM - Break

10:40 AM - Diana Irick, Noble Public Schools

11:30 AM - Lunch on your own

12:30 PM - Miki Bray, Bixby West Elementary, Physical Education

1:30 PM - Break

1:45 PM - Pickleball

3:30 PM - Wrap-up: Door Prizes, Evaluation, & Certificates

This training is hosted by Indian Health Care Resource Center of Tulsa, the Muscogee Creek Nation, the Wewoka Indian Clinic, the Tulsa Health Department – School Health Program, and is supported by the Southern Plains Tribal Health Board. 

This is a physically active training, so come dressed to move and participate all day!
