Health Education & Wellness
The Health Education and Wellness department offers programs that teach healthy lifestyles and enhance the ability of children, youth and adults to make good decisions regarding physical activity, nutrition and health. Health promotion and disease prevention classes provide useful information about nutrition, diabetes, smoking, high blood pressure and various other topics.
Health Education and Wellness services include:

- Individual diabetes and weight management counseling
- AADE nationally accredited diabetes education program

Diabetes and Health Management Services
Health Education & Wellness offers group and individual appointments for diabetes prevention and management. Dietitians and case managers teach important lifestyle skills to better manage health, and assist with a variety of conditions, including diabetes, pre-diabetes, cardiovascular disease, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, renal issues, anemia, prenatal health, and weight management. Please see your medical provider for a referral before scheduling dietitian appointments.
Our Diabetes Education program is accredited by the American Association of Diabetes Educators. This provides assurance for our patients that staff is providing a high-quality program with the most current information available. Community Wellness Projects
