Works under general supervision performing complex duties following established procedures. Responsible for providing direct clinical services including diagnostic evaluations, therapy and educational groups, which are consistent with accepted standards of clinical practice and Indian culture. |

Completes diagnostic evaluations on new patients, which include DSM-IV diagnosis and treatment plan. |
|

Provides crises intervention services as needed. |
|
|

Provides individual, marital, family, and group psychotherapy. |

|

|
4. |
Make referrals to other agencies for services available in the community, which are needed by our clients. |

Interface with provider staff through case management. |
|

Maintains records and provides services, which meet or exceed State certification standards for outpatient mental health programs. |

Recommends revisions to mental health policies and procedures manual. |

Assists in the identification of health trends and needs of the target client population. |

Complies with all AAAHC standards and requirements such as annual TB test, CPR and CEU if applicable. |

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities |
|
Masters degree in a related field. 2+ years experience working in mental health field. |
|
Current and valid Oklahoma LCSW licensure. |
|
CPR certification. |
|
Special understanding of Indian culture. Understanding of mental health, substance abuse, chemical dependency, economic, and social problems relating to American Indians. |
|
Intermediate computer skills. Proficient in MS Office and/or additional applicable programs. |
|
Strong written and oral communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. |
|
Ability to multi-task and work independently, demonstrating initiative and accuracy in work results. |
|
Working Conditions |
|
Individuals may need to sit or stand as needed. May require walking throughout the building as necessary throughout the day. May include lifting up to 15 pounds for files and other office needs. Primary environment is ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment. |
